Having never studied at le Cordon Bleu Paris or participated in years of cooking classes Chef Rhonda Plummer has indeed been cooked for a lifetime! “Growing up everyone on both sides of my family cooked”, explains Chef Rhonda. “My first memory is of my mom cooking a holiday meal. I guess that’s where my passion for cooking good healthy food from scratch as she always did comes from”. Chef Rhonda has cooked for friends & family since the age of about nine. Having cooked her first private dinner on Mother’s Day 1984 (at the age of just ten). “Cooking has always calmed me; what can I say coking makes me happy”, says Chef Rhonda.
Chef Rhonda professional career began at the NOLA’s K Creole Kitchen as line cook then Sous Chef. Later working for both Nordstrom Café as Lead Line Cook and Sous Chef for Sunny Delights Catering of Berkeley, CA. In 2010 Chef Rhonda began Cater2U LLC a Private Chef & Catering Service. Working for clients such as first round draft pick Dion Jordan, Zoosk, McKesson, Former SF Mayor Willie Brown, Bright Horizon, Indiegogo & many more.
Her passion, dedication accompanied with her hard work Chef Rhonda currently servesa plethora of NFL & Entertainment personalities across the country.
Ever grateful for all she has been blessed with, Chef Rhonda and her family continue to give back to the community. “This community is why I’m the woman I am today, I feel itsmy duty to give back any way I can explains Chef Rhonda. She is a member of the board of the Bayview Hunters Point Community Youth Park Foundation, works tirelessly for Providence Baptist Church feeding 150 of Bayview’s homeless. Chef Rhonda also participate with the Avon Breast Cancer Association & the Lung Associations Climb California
